Shannon (she/her) is a product designer passionate about making healthcare more accessible and improving the quality of care. Currently, she's working on as suite of clinical tools for UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she gets to help medical teams deliver better outcomes. Beyond that, she has built websites to provide free care and wellness educational resources for underserved communities.
Her journey into design started at Carnegie Mellon, where she majored in industrial design and found her interest in applying design to healthcare through her minor in biomedical engineering.
